Welcome to the English page of accordion club INSULINDE. Insulinde was founded November 13th 1936 and is one of the oldest accordion clubs of Amsterdam.
The club consists of three Accordion orchestras.
The three orchestras have a different level

The "cracks" are gathered in the Insulinde Ensemble  which is "all-round" in their repertoire choice.

The Insulindei-orchestra is the amusement orchestra with a repertoire from ABBA to It's time to say goodbye. Director is Marja Vrieling.

The Seven 2 Eight orchester are the novices. They have a repertoire that is adapted to their skills. Director is Herman Tiersma.

Grand Concert in the Flevo theatre Kramatplantsoen 101 in Amsterdam-East.
All orchestras will give a performance (including the famous Ensemble  of Insulinde).

For this occasion a special combined -orchestra is formed that will play a selection of the most popular music performed by Insulinde in previous years.


During the year Insulinde will give a lot of performances in several homes for the elderly in and around Amsterdam. More information can be found on our Agenda
